The AM200 embodies the very latest in flexible modern transmission technologies to provide your business or customers with high quality, reliable data communications. AM200 integrates many functions & features to provide combined voice data connectivity. AM2000 has an Ethernet bridge router interface as standard and can provide an additional two interfaces such as G.703 for the transport of voice. AM200s can be interconnected over UTP cables or leased lines at distances of up to 8km on 0.5mm cables.

The AM200 enables you to interconnect LANs without the need for separate routers or bridges. By using AM2000 with optional G.703, a corporate PBX can be linked to a remote office PBX, or mobile base station traffic can be back-hauled over DSL. AM200 can be installed as a future-proof option for traditional TDM backhaul now, and to transport UMTS later.

AM200 brings substantial benefits to the user through its high level of integration including full G.991.2 compliant line coding, integrating universal power input, optional LCD programming, status indicators, and front panel terminal port access. The AM200's powerful built-in bridging and routing features provide a cost-effective solution for interconnecting LANs and providing access for LANs to the Internet. AM200 delivers framed, unframed or fractional E1 & Nx64kbps services.

Both its VT100 and SNMP management options are user friendly. Integral diagnostic and alarm reporting features avoid the need for extra test equipment when commissioning. Rate adaption and line degradation performance monitoring, enable operators to improve QoS and minimise downtime.
